Watermelon Slush

Today me and little man had really big plans!!   We played and played in the backyard with our little kiddie pool and splash table for hours!   It was our first 90+ degree weather for the year and I can’t think of another way then spending the day with my little guy!

Since it was hotter the crap outside we needed to have a quick refresher.    We just so happen to have lots of watermelon left over from Memorial weekend.  So I got to thinking  how great watermelon would taste in slushy.   So ladies and gentlemen that is how the Watermelon Slush was born!!   Even my little 2 year old gulped it down!

It was so simple, so easy, so tasty and so refreshing everyone will love it!!!

To start making this refreshing Watermelon Slush you will need watermelon, lemon and a dash of sugar.

Cut your watermelon into 1 inch cubes and freezer for 2 hours or overnight.  Place your cut up watermelon in your blender.  Squeeze half a lemon into blender with 1 Tbsp sugar.

Turn on your blender and let it do its magic!

Your slush will be slightly thick but once it sits for a few minutes it turns into the perfect Watermelon Slush

  4. This looks really good. Pinned. How many servings does this make? I have four kids, so would this be enough for all of them or do I need to double the recipe?

    • I bet it made about 24oz when it is really thick and once it breaks down and thaws out it makes more. Depending on your kids it might be okay. I made extra frozen watermelon so If I needed more it was easy to make more.

  5. Brittany, popping over to your post from the party, because I am a watermelon fanatic and just love this!! Totally trying this weekend – thanks for sharing and pinning!
