Well, its freezing cold outside…like the kind of cold you don’t want to leave your house and stay under a blanket kind of day or in my case weeks!   This is why  I love Marie Callender’s pot pies they are the perfect comfort meal when the weather is turning.  Not only are these Marie Callender’s pot pies the perfect comfort food they are super convenient for those nights when you just don’t want to cook.  Every Marie Callender’s pot pie shares and delivers the true sense of homemade.

Marie Callender’s has a great thing happening right now, it’s called  the Marie Callender’s Comforts From Home Project .  For every participating Marie Callender’s product purchased they will give a donation to help support our troops!   How great is that…..we get to have a nice comfort meal while helping our men and women fighting for our country!  While you are  there take a look at some of the great recipes Marie Callender’s offers.  Plus follow along with the on Facebook.

While I was at Walmart purchasing my Marie Callender’s pot pies I was thinking what we should have for dessert. It’s not very often we have a dessert when we finish our dinner.   But when I started thinking of warm comfort meals I started to crave one of my favorite all time desserts.

3 Ingredient Peach Cobbler is one of the easy desserts you will ever make.   Its full of flavor, full of  peaches and top it off with some vanilla ice cream.    The best part you can start cooking this amazing 3 Ingredient Peach Cobbler the same time you are cooking your Marie Callender’s pot pies.

We always make this dessert when we are camping and we use our dutch ovens.  But since its cold and we are not able to go camping, I don’t want to miss out on one of our favorite desserts.

To start you need to get your oven preheated to 350 degrees.   Grab your dutch oven and lightly spray with cooking spray.

Open your can of peaches and pour into dutch oven. Sprinkle on your yellow cake mix on top of peaches

Pour Sprite/7-UP on top.  Give it a light stir.  I like to add a little cinnamon on top.

Place lid on top and cook for 1 hour

Serve immediately and top with vanilla ice cream.   Trust me it tastes better when its warm!!

Now grab your forks and dive on in!
