Breakfast Taquitos

We are huge breakfast fans in this house….I think I am a little bit more then the rest of them but when I am the cook they just smile and enjoy.   The best thing about breakfast it is even better for dinner!!    A few weeks back I had an idea to make some Breakfast Taquitos on a Sunday morning.   Well that dream just happened this past week when I finally got around to make them.

Breakfast Pizza

Angel Food Cake French Toast

While I was at the grocery store a few days ago I happened to walk past the strawberries.   The strawberries had an amazing smell.  The  kind of aroma you just know they are going to toast good!   Well I was right and the 2 year old gobbled them up..he couldn’t get enough.    Since we had such great strawberries in the house I want to make a yummy dessert to go along with dinner.   So I whipped up a box of angel food cake.   Dessert was amazing and we all enjoyed it.

Banana Blueberry Muffins

We always always have leftover banana’s on the counter.  I like mine more on the green side and and after a few days they are to over ripe so they just sit and sit staring at me.   I have been trying to get better at using them up in different recipes, smoothies or just freezing them.  I just so happen to have came across this recipe on and I knew right away that we needed to have these Banana Blueberry Muffins for breakfast.

These Banana Blueberry Muffins exceeded my expectations!  I read all the comments online and they all raved on how delicious, moist and how much these muffins were full of flavor.  Well they were all right and im glad I ended up giving them a try.   They are now permanently added into my bread folder.   For the best Banana Blueberry Muffins EVER!!!!

Hashbrown & Egg Breakfast Casserole

There is nothing I love more than a delicious breakfast!!

 I wish I could make a nice and yummy breakfast for my family every morning.   But then reality kicks in and I realize im not superwoman.  On the days I work im up at 4am, drop the baby off to my mom by 5:20 and running to the time clock at 5:59.  As for my husband he is out the door at 6:15.  Plus at 4:30 in the morning the last thing im thinking about is breakfast.  So I really only have the weekends to make a big big breakfast.

One of the best ways to make breakfast, is to make it casserole style.  I love casserole dishes because they are easy to throw together, every one can all eat at the same time and you can even make it the night before and toss it in the oven in the morning while you play with the kiddos.

So I always cherish those mornings when we are all able to sleep in…..oh wait who am I kidding!


How many of you like to have breakfast for dinner?

We sure do!  We probably do at least once a month when we know we are going to have a late night.   So this is great idea to make ahead of time and simply just throw in the oven.

Also I never said this recipe was healthy but trust me I think its worth ALL the calories!!

Breakfast Pockets

I absolutely love breakfast.  It is my favorite meal of the day and its also the most important meal of the day.  But that also means we don’t always have the time to have a healthy and nutritious breakfast, which leads to either not eating, grabbing something unhealthy or stopping at the drive through at McDonalds.  Well this is one of my favorite go to breakfasts because you are eating something  healthier and more fulfilling to help you get through the day.  Plus its nice to eat it with your hand and the kiddos can eat while you are driving them to school and not make a huge mess in the back seat.

Plus you can make a whole bunch and freeze them and cook them in the microwave in the morning.

Homemade Breakfast Burrito’s

Breakfast is my all time favorite meal.  I could  enjoy in the morning or sometimes its even better for dinner. But no matter what time of day you eat breakfast you need to give these breakfast burritos a try.
They are always go to meal on the weekends!

Homemade Breakfast Burrito’s

For this recipe make your recipe according to how many you want to make. Works great to make them and have them on stand by in the freezer.

Eggs, scrambled
Hashbrowns, cooked and seasoned
Pico de Gallo
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Bacon or sausage

Wrap all ingredients in the tortilla shell and enjoy!
