Oven Roasted Potato Wedges

I remember growing up my mom sometimes let me get potato wedges from the meat counter at the grocery store!   They were my absolute favorite snack in the world.    The other day we were out to dinner and my son got some potato wedges in his kids meal.  It brought back so many memories of my child hood.

So I thought why not go home and try to make my own Oven Roasted Potato Wedges!!!


Well they were awesome!   They had the perfect crispness, amazing flavor and the potato on the inside was so light and fluffy.  They were even just as good the next day!  Plus they were baked and not fried!!!

So want to make some of your own Oven Roasted Potato Wedges…its really simple!

First thing; you need to wash and cut your potatoes into wedges


Next toss wedges into Ziploc bag with olive oil and seasonings


Then, Lay out on cookie sheet and watch them bake


The next best part!!  You get to eat them!


Oven Roasted Potato Wedges

  • 4-6 Russet Potatoes
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt, plus a little extra to sprinkle on top when done
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  1. Wash and cut potatoes into wedges. Place potatoes in Ziploc bag; add in seasoning and oil and shake until completely covered. Spray or drizzle olive oil on top of cookie sheet. Lay wedges out and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Flip wedges over and continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and serve while hot!
