With Summer here, that means we are all out spending time with family, having many late nights and often times we are grabbing dinner at the drive-thru. So in my hopes of trying to get my family to have a more balanced meal than fried food. I wanted to make one of our favorite meals at home. Using a few of our favorite Kraft products for a low budget meal! So how about Ranch Barbecue Chicken Pizza.
We all know money can get tight during the Summer trying to keep our kids entertained and the parents trying to keep their sanity. We all have tight times with extra cash around the 1st and 15th of the month with all our monthly bills. So why not take advantage of Walmart with their rollback prices! When I use their rollback prices I am able to create budget friendly meals for my family. Which means more money in my pocket for summer fun activities.
The best part I was able to complete this meal for under $20.00 thanks to Walmart! Plus having a very satisfied husband and kid!
So let’s get this meal started!
First we need a few of our favorite Kraft products
Then we need to wash and chop our vegetables. Get our pizza dough ready, you can either buy the pre-made dough or use my easy recipe. Then we need chicken, you can either fire up the grill, boil or even use a rotisserie. This dinner is awesome if you leftover chicken from the night before, its like 2 low budget meals in one.
Now it’s the fun part, We get to load up our pizza with Kraft Barbecue Sauce, Velveeta Shreds cheese and all our favorite toppings.
When your pizza is done, Drizzle the Kraft Ranch Dressing and add a side salad.
- Pizza Dough
- 1 package Velveeta Shreds Mozzarella Cheese
- ½ cup Kraft Barbecue Sauce
- 1 cup chicken, diced
- ¼ cup Ranch
- ½ cup tomato, diced
- ¼ cup red onion, diced
- Prepare your favorite pizza dough. I like to use my pizza stone for my pizza or use a greased cookie sheet. Evenly spread Kraft barbecue sauce on top of pizza dough. Sprinkle on Velveeta Shreds cheese. Cover with tomatoes, onion, chicken and cilantro. Bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes until cheese bubbly and crust is lightly brown. Serve with Kraft ranch on top. Enjoy!
