Are you all sitting down……okay good?    Well I was so excited to give this opportunity a try!   We love pizza at our house and we actually have it quite often.    I always have frozen pizza in the freezer, because let’s face it kids love it and they will actually eat it.    Well with summer fast approaching last thing I want to do is heat up the house with the oven on.   I didn’t believe this at first but once I tried it I knew we would be making pizza this way a lot more.  So how did we make it you ask…well I cooked this Jack’s pizza on the grill in my backyard, no preheating the oven, no dirty pizza dish and no hot house afterwards.   Yup, That’s right, you can grill it!!  Just simply place Jack’s pizza on your gas grill and go run around  the backyard with the kiddo’s.

This process is so simple and easy.  It will make you think, why didn’t think of this years ago.   All you need to do is turn the grill burners on to low heat.    When the grill is done getting warmed up grab your Jack’s pizza and unwrap it and pop it right in the center of  the grill.

Follow Jack’s Pizza on Facebook to get grilling instructions.

Close the lid and let your favorite Jack’s pizza cook for 12-15 minutes.  After about 7 minutes rotate  pizza.    Continue cooking until cheese is melted and bubbly.   I watched my pizza closely because my grill tends to overcook everything.

See, I told you it was easy!

Lucky for me the family didn’t know dinner was ready so I was able to get a few pictures before little hands were diving in.

The best part about this meal I didn’t have to wash any dishes.   I used paper plates, and I even used the cardboard plate the pizza came on to cut up the pizza. Which to me is another win win!

After dinner we continued on the fun and played around in the backyard.  We finally had a break in the rain storms and could get outside and enjoy the sunshine.  It was a nice cool evening, the birds were chirping, the sounds of the neighbors cutting their lawns and I was finally able to get started on planting my garden while my husband and son were running around and blowing bubbles.  Which was the perfect time to stop and grab some Nestle Peanut Butter Drumstick Cones.   I always grew up with Drumsticks, my favorite parts is the coned lined with chocolate.  Now they have these NEW Peanut Butter Drumstick Cones, which are quickly becoming our new favorite #SummerGoodies.    This was my son’s first experience with a Drumstick, he was slightly traumatized when his chocolate cracked off and the vanilla ice cream appeared.   But he got over it real soon once he gave it a real good  taste.
