I love fresh summer fruits! There is nothing better then being able to go into your yard (or your grandparents yard…in my case) and pick fresh peaches right off the tree. I remember when I was younger how much I loved going to my grandparents house and pick a bushel of peaches. We would eat them in lots of dishes, grill them, make cobbler and we would even can them to last us all year long.
This recipe is so simple and easy. One of my parts of summer is grilling! If you haven’t grilled any fruit before then you need to start. These Grilled Peaches are sweetened with a brown sugar glaze. Serve with yummy vanilla ice cream and everyone will love them.
- 4-6 peaches
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- Wash peaches and cut along the pit. Lay peaches open and spread butter on the top. Place butter side down on preheated grill on medium/high heat for about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and turn over peaches.
- In a small bowl combine cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle even amount on top of peaches. Cook for another 12-15 minutes or until peaches are tender. Serve immediately with ice cream.
