Creamy Italian Chicken

I think this recipe is one of my all time favorite recipes!  There are many different versions of this recipe but I think this by far is the best one.  I love how you can toss it in the crock pot and go about your day.  The flavor combination is amazing and the cream cheese just makes it so creamy!  Everything is always better with cream cheese.

Creamy Italian Chicken

3-4 chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 package cream cheese
2 packets of italian dressing seasoning
1/2 cup water
2 cups long grain rice or noodles

Place chicken into crockpot.   In a bowl add the soup, cream cheese, seasoning and water and mix well.   Pour into crockpot and stir.  Cover and cook for 3-4 hours on high until chicken is tender.  When almost done cook rice according to package.  Pour over rice or noodles which ever you prefer.

My Notes:
Frozen chicken breasts work just fine.  I like to cut my chicken into bite size bites but that’s totally up to you.
