Chick-Fil-A Cow Appreciation Day Costume

So every year Chick-Fil-A has a Cow Appreciation Day!  This is actually our first time ever participating in this event, but I have several friends who take this serious!  We are basically weekly visitors to Chick-Fil-A so I figured why not go and get some FREE chicken!

In order to get your FREE chicken you need to wear something cow related!  So here I am basically the night before hurrying to make something cow related for them to wear.   I didn’t have any vinyl or contact paper but my original plan was to cut out cow patches with construction paper and glue/tape it on!  Well once my kids get into the play place I can see them coming apart.  So I came up with us other idea of painting some black patches on some old white t-shirts!

This costume I literally put together really fast and its not perfect but that is okay!  The kids had fun helping me so that is all that matters!

So to get started on this super easy t-shirt you need a few things you probably have in your closet!

2 white t-shirts, black paint, a bumpy looking potato and cereal box

I cut a cereal box in half and placed inside the shirts so the paint wouldn’t bleed through.   I found the oddest shape potato I had and I sliced it in half.   I put some black paint on a paper plate and we started dipping.

I did put a fork into the potato to help the littles grab it easier.
