30 Minute Rolls

I would consider my self a huge fan of bread!    I could have it for every meal and be completely satisfied,  My back side may not be as thrilled about it, but we only live once.    When I came across this recipe for 30 minute rolls there were lots of blogs that had the same 30 minute roll recipe.  So meaning they all loved this recipe I knew I would to.   I’m still learning the ways on how to make the perfect the bread.  My 30 minute rolls pictures doesn’t even compare to the other ladies pictures but I was proud that I was actually able to make a “roll”.

The flavor was amazing, the aroma from them baking was amazing, they were super soft and moist.   I was expecting dry hockey pucks like my previous recipe I have tried.   Well this 30 Minute Roll recipe was a huge it and they were so easy to make.   I plan on making them a lot in the future.

Lather this rolls in butter, jam or even honey butter when they are fresh out of the oven.   The entire family will love these.  Plus the kiddos will have fun rolling the dough around.

Total time

Ingredients
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp warm water
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 2 Tbsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3½ cup bread flour or All-Purpose but with breads I prefer Bread flour
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl add warm water, oil, yeast and sugar. Stir and let rest for 15 minutes until foamy. Using your dough hook attachment and add salt, egg and flour. Knead together for a few minutes, until smooth and bouncy. Evenly form the dough into 12 equally sized balls. (dough will be sticky, I found flouring my hands helped)
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place dough in a greased 13 x 9 pan and cover with dish towel and let rise for 10 minutes. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle melted butter on top when done.
