Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Ever find yourself in your kitchen with over ripened banana’s?  We eat a lot of banana’s in our house but sometimes we just aren’t able to eat them all.   So instead of me just throwing them away.   I was going to make my usual banana bread but then I thought why not give this Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread a try instead.   I’m huge fan of banana bread and I thought the added cinnamon layer would be a great an addition.

Well I was right, this Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread was far better then I ever expected.  Plus it is one of those recipe that are so easy to make.

Co-hosting Boost Your Post

Wish more of your Facebook fans could see your posts? The rules have become tough but there are ways we can help each other…and that is why this party was born!

#boostyourpost

Each week share TWO of your FACEBOOK posts (use the FACEBOOK URL please, not your blog) and we will like, comment and share it with others. Your views will grow. Do the same for others, as well. So, come along party with us (details below)

Welcome to Brittany and Cathy, this week’s co-hosts!

Brittany of Mommy On Demand

Rules? Simply…

  1. Add the URL to one or two of your recent Facebook posts that you would like to boost. (How to find that URL is explained at the end of this post.)
  2. Visit at least the 2 posts (or four if you shared 2 with us) above yours and like, comment and/or share them.

Happy Blogging, my friends.

Sinea

HOW TO FIND YOUR FACEBOOK POST URL:

  • Open up your Facebook Fanpage.
  • Open the Administrative window (Admin Panel) so that you can see the list of most recent posts at the top left of the window.
  • After you have added your status report and clicked “POST” the post name will appear at the top left of the Admin. page.
  • Click on the name of the post and it will open in a new window.

The URL of that new window is the URL of your post.  It will look something like this:

https://www.facebook.com/ducksnarow/posts/668805243161739

That is the URL you will use for our link party. :)

Cafe Zupas Cookbook Review…Plus 2 new recipes & Giveaway

We have all heard of Cafe Zupas!   If you haven’t then you are really missing out.    Me and the husband go there often together.   We have never had a bad experience and they are very reasonably priced.   Let’s not even get me started on there assortment of desserts they offer.    I was recently contacted to review a cookbook for Cafe Zupas.   They have four amazing women that put this cook book together and all of these recipes are not on the Cafe Zupas Menu.    A few big things I loved about this cookbook, is every recipe has a picture.  Which I love,  this is how I pick and choose which recipes I want to make.  I need to see the yumminess before I dig in!!  Also I love how it is spiral bound, which is great because I liked folding it over and save valuable counter space.

The Weekend Retreat Link Party #57

Did you all have a great week?   We sure did, we went down south to spend some time with my in-laws….we were hoping for some warmth and sunshine and we got, on the drive home.   Kind of a bummer what it was still fun to spend time with family and to get away for a few days.    We have had some awesome turnouts the past few weeks and we appreciate you all coming over each week.

Here’s to another great PARTY!!!!

Grasshopper Brownies

I love brownies, mint and add some chocolate on top and you have the best Grasshopper Brownies that everyone will enjoy.    I have a problem when it comes to make treats and desserts.   I think I have to eat it all to myself, which in some cases it does happen.   So I always try to make desserts when we have something planned or I take them to work to share with everyone.  So I wanted to make these Grasshopper Brownies when I knew we were headed out of town with family so I had to share them.

We have been making theses brownies since I was a little girl and I honestly can’t remember the last time I actually made them.  I have always been a huge fan of brownies.   Even at my wedding I requested the cater to have mint brownies!  Except this time I had to add the Andes Mints on top, because lets face it, they are amazing and make these brownies so much better with them on top.
