My grandpa has been making this Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup for years! Of course along the way it was been slightly modified but it is still just as delicious as it was when I was little girl spending the night at my grandparents house with all my cousins. It has always been a family favorite and it always will be my favorite. I love when recipes are passed down from generate to generate. I love the memories that come along with all the recipes.
There is nothing better the having a nice warm bowl of soup on a cold Winter day! The best part about homemade Chicken noodle soup is the noodles. I personally think they need to be homemade. The honestly make the soup taste so much better!
I love preparing a nice warm meal. Then being able to sit down in a nice comfortable chair wrapped around a fuzzy blanket watching the snow coming down or reading a good book. There is just something so peaceful with watching the snow fall. When everything is covered in fresh white layer and the fresh crispness in the air. So make sure you think of this recipe the next time you see snow falling. This recipe will soon become one of your family favorite recipes and they will fall in love with it.
With any good soup recipe, I always think the soup tastes better the next day after all the juices are able to soak into the noodles. So feel free to make this the night before. It does make a lot of soup and I have tried to half the recipe but some how I always end up making a huge batch still. Which is fine because we always still eat all of it. I only wish I could find a way to freeze this recipe without the noodles turning into a mush.

It’s 5 o’clock! You just walk in the door from a long day at work! The kids are hungry and grumpy and you have no idea what to make for dinner!!
Well ladies and Gentleman this Easy Chicken Alfredo recipe is the winner! Its super easy, I can have dinner on the table in about 30 minutes. Everykid loves pasta, chicken and I was even able to sneak in some veggies. I love meals that are full of color, makes me happy knowing my family is getting a variety of vegtables.
The original Easy Chicken Alfredo recipe was for a slow cooker but I didn’t have the time. So I simply modified it just a little bit and I think it turned out great. It has now become a family favorite and even the leftovers are just as good as the day before.
I remember the first time I tried Tater Tot Casserole. I think I was probably 10 years old or so. I thought it was the most disgusting meal my mom had ever made. The name alone turned me away. So of course I have always had this image of gross Tater Tot casserole in my head. Telling myself I will never ever eat this again.
Now let’s jump forward 15 years, I saw this recipe on Campbell’s Kitchen and I thought I will give it one more try. Because let’s face it, there were a lot of meals that I didn’t like when I was younger. I have learned that I missed out on a lot of really good foods because I was to picky to give them a try. So, I thought we are going to make this so I can once and for all say if I do or do not like Tater Tot Casserole.
Well the verdict, I did actually like it. I don’t think I will make every week but I still liked and so did the husband. So we will be adding this recipe into my book of approvals!

I love anything that involves mint! I’m not even sure where my love for mint came from because no one in my family really cares for it. I love mint gum, Keebler Grasshopper cookies, mint peppermint patties, I even love to get mint ice cream shakes. Heck I even grow mint in my garden and add it to lemonade! I absolutely love the stuff.
So when I came across this recipe for Chocolate Andes Mint Pudding Cookies I knew right away that I needed to make it. I always have a bag of Andes mint baking chips in my freezer. Don’t tell but sometimes I just eat them out of the bag no one is looking. Then of course you all know my love for pudding cookies. I have never made pudding cookies before with chocolate pudding so I was intrigued and knew this recipe would be perfect for me!
These cookies hit the spot! The were full chocolaty yumminess with nice hint of mint. I even added a few more mint chips right on top when I pulled them out of the oven, for an added boost of flavor!
